Gisele, the Global Citizen

Not only can she rock the runway, but she can rock our world.  World-renowned super model and United Nations Environmental Ambassador, Gisele Bundchen, was recently awarded with the 2011 Global Environmental Citizen award by the Harvard Center for Health and the Global Environment for her outstanding contributions to furthering knowledge about the global environment and promoting awareness about the urgent need to protect it.  Since 2009, when Bundchen was appointed Environmental Ambassador for United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Bundchen has focused on mitigating our biggest environmental threats, including climate change, loss of biodiversity, and environmental degradation, and become the face of global environmental action.
