The evening light shows on Victoria Harbor are a bit of a Novelty day 1, but after six months, less so. I lived in Hong Kong, so sort of relevant as to where I’ve been.  Midlevels in central Hong Kong to be exact; I can still say my address in Cantonese and Mandarin (but that is about all).  Incentive to be home by midnight; escalators up midlevels shut off by then; ie, 5′8 in Asia and walking up a 100+ steps most nights, heels (sadly) stayed in the closet.

So much fun; day trips to Shenzhen; a 24 hour spa called Queens Spa.  You and friends can watch a movie, have a foot massage, head massage and fruit platter all at the same time. Huge fan of cupping and acupuncture; there is a lot us Westerners can learn; human body is a wonderful thing; cared for properly, it certainly can overcome all illness. But that has nothing to do with fashion and its my inner yogi speaking so… back to fashion.  You would be AMAZED at the number of top fashion houses that all manufacture in China; AMAZED.  I’ll leave it at that.
